Meet Steph — Founder of The Local Loop
Hi, I’m Steph!
I’m a North Shore mum, business owner and someone who has always believed in the power of helping others.
I created The Local Loop around a simple idea: everyone has something valuable to give, and everyone needs a little help sometimes.
Why I started The Local Loop
Throughout my career, I’ve seen how much can happen when people share their knowledge, make introductions, offer support and work together.
And I’ve always believed that when you lead with generosity, good things have a way of coming back around.
Sometimes that’s a new friendship. Sometimes it’s an unexpected opportunity, a new client, a helping hand or simply the feeling of knowing you’ve made someone’s day a little easier.
That’s what inspired The Local Loop.
I wanted to create a place where local people and businesses could connect in a more meaningful way. Somewhere we could move beyond transactions and focus on relationships, generosity and genuine community.
You don’t need to have lots of money or a big network to be part of something valuable.
You just need something you’re willing to share.
Give what you’re good at. Get what you need.
And let’s see what good things we can create together.

Our philosophy — lead with generosity
Good Things Come Full Circle.
We believe that when you lead with generosity, great things can happen. A shared skill can become a new friendship. A simple introduction can open a door. An hour of your time can make a real difference to someone else.
The Local Loop is about more than exchanging services. It’s about building a community where people look out for each other, share what they know, and create opportunities together.
Give freely. Connect genuinely. Grow together.
Our Community Values
Generosity
Start with what you can give, not just what you can get.
Connection
Build real relationships with people in your local community.
Gratitude
Appreciate the time, knowledge and support people share.
Reciprocity
Give and receive in ways that feel fair and meaningful.
Community
Help create a place where everyone has something to contribute.
The Local Loop is not a traditional sales platform or a place for aggressive self-promotion. It’s a community built around mutually beneficial exchanges, collaboration and genuine connection. Members should never feel pressured to give more than they are comfortable with, and exchanges should be clearly agreed between members.
Steph also runs Jellyfish Solutions.
